What can I expect if I decide to donate my eggs?

Egg donors undergo complete physical and psychological evaluations prior to being accepted to our Florida donor egg program. They also complete a detailed medical history and a genetic evaluation.

Egg donors undergo ovulation induction for IVF using the drug FSH. They are closely monitored to avoid side effects and monitor the eggs development. Once the eggs mature, she is given light anesthesia and the eggs are withdrawn from the ovarian follicles using transvaginal guided ultrasound retrieval.
