What are your IVF success rates?
The success rates for Dr. Shaykh's Florida and Virginia infertility clinic programs greatly exceed the national averages. Dr. Shaykh feels that the ultimate treatment choice should be the couples. This is unlike some programs that will not offer IVF to women in their forties for fear of reducing their overall success rates. Dr. Shaykh offers IVF to women in their forties after fully explaining the low probability of success and discussing options such as the donor egg program where the success rates are much higher. Some couples want to accept the risk because they want a child genetically related to each parent. We are often successful in establishing pregnancies in women in their late thirties or early forties.
