The Assisted Fertility Program, which was established in 1985 was the first IVF clinic in North Florida/Southern Georgia. Dr. Marwan Shaykh has over 30 years of experience, and has achieved excellent success rates over the years for pregnancy when it comes to IVF, GIFT, ZIFT, ICSI and embryo freezing. Our IVF success rates exceed the national average. Our Assisted Reproductive Technology lab adheres to the highest standards and is CAP accredited. Examples of cases we have achieved success with include:
-Advanced age (women over age 40). Many clinics may turn away women over 40 due to lower success rates; however we have successfully treated many women over 40 who have achieved pregnancy.
-Infertility due to Asherman’s syndrome, Uterine Fibroids, Uterine Polyps, Chronic recurring cysts, PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), and Endometriosis.
– Patients with multiple failed IVF cycles or failed IUI attempts.
– Patients with unexplained infertility or tubal infertility.
According to SART (The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology) “It is important to note that patient characteristics vary among programs; therefore, success rates should not be used to compare treatment centers.”
We agree with SART’s guidelines that comparing success rates is something that should never be done because different programs treat different types of patients with different infertility diagnoses and different age groups. However we feel that our patients have the right to know what our success rates are before coming to our clinic. Here are some of our most recent pregnancy rates following IVF cycles as well as success rates for frozen embryo transfers and success rates for donor cycle IVF. These are general combined success rate for all types of IVF and FET cycles with all infertility diagnoses.
