We accept most commercial insurance plans!

If you would like to see if your insurance will cover your consultation and/or treatment you can simply call them and ask if you have “coverage for consultation and diagnostic testing for infertility”, if they say yes and if the doctor is an in-network provider- your visit will be covered. You will also want to ask if you have coverage for infertility treatment as well such as Insemination, In-Vitro Fertilization and injectable medications. You may also want to ask if a referral is required for a specialist. If so, you will need to get that from your primary care physician that has been assigned to you.

Unfortunately, many insurance companies exclude infertility coverage unless you live in a state which mandates coverage. This is why we strive to keep our self- pay prices as low as possible. For an initial consultation which includes; an ultrasound exam and review of your medical history it is $300. At this appointment, Dr. Shaykh will discuss his recommendations for fertility treatments as applicable. If there is a question about the sperm counts, a semen analysis can be done for $100.

In addition, our self –pay prices are the lowest in the region for many fertility treatments such as In-Vitro fertilization, egg donation IVF cycles and Insemination procedures.

We do not accept insurance for tubal ligation reversal. Select insurances may offer to cover a very small portion of the surgery and do not cover the full cost of the surgery so for this reason we do not accept insurance.

Please note: If a patient has ever had a tubal ligation (voluntary tied tubes) this unfortunately voids any infertility benefits so any treatments are considered self -pay and not covered through insurance.
