Egg Donors
Thank you for your interest in our Florida and Virginia donor egg programs. Egg donation is an opportunity to help an otherwise infertile couple have the child of their dreams. The vast majority of egg donors donate for altruistic reasons but compensation is provided for inconvenience and
expenses.
There are basically two types of egg donors; known and unknown. Known donors are usually family friends or relatives that want to help the couple. The identities of “unknown” egg donors will not be provided beyond general physical characteristics and educational background. In no case will the name of the donor be divulged.
Egg donors should be between the ages of 21 and 34, meet height and weight requirements (to minimize health risks), be non smokers, and be free of certain genetic defects and medical conditions. Proven fertility is desired but not necessary.

Qualified egg donor candidates who are interested in helping infertile couples enjoy the gift of parenthood should contact either the Southwest Virginia Fertility Center in Roanoke, Virginia, or the First Coast Assisted Fertility Program in Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida.
